Wiki, IGBO, Cleo Reed @ Mercury Lounge
Wiki has been dropping new singles for the past few months, and while there’s no word on a new album yet, he plays this hometown show tonight. Maybe he’ll preview or discuss more new stuff at the show?
Blaqk Audio, Silent Rival @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
Blaqk Audio, the synthpop side project of AFI’s Davey Havok and Jade Puget, released a new album last month and now they’re supporting it on tour. This is their second of two NYC shows on it.
Giulia Rozzi @ Baby’s All Right
Tonight’s edition of “Regular Comedy” is hosted and curated by Giulia Rozzi and features a bunch of great comedians including #ADULTING’s Michelle Buteau and Last Week Tonight writer Josh Gondelman.
Let’s See, What Else? w/ Janeane Garofalo, Sam Morril, Michael Kosta, Janelle James, Casey James Salengo @ Bowery Ballroom
It’s the three-year anniversary of East Village comedy series Let’s See, What Else, tonight in a much bigger room than normal, with a more stacked lineup of comedians.
Jerry Seinfeld, John Mulaney, Jon Stewart, Bill Burr, Michael Che, Tiffany Haddish, Brian Regan, Steve Schirripa @ Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden
This all-star lineup of comedy greats benefits the Garden of Dreams Foundation which provides “unforgettable experiences for children facing obstacles.”
Robert Ellis, Ian O’Neill (of Deer Tick) @ Rough Trade
Countrified singer-songwriter Robert Ellis recently released his new album Texas Piano Man and celebrates tonight with Deer Tick’s Ian O’Neill.
Don’t Stop Or We’ll Die (Paul Rust & Michael Cassady), The Sloppy Boys @ The Bell House
If you’ve seen Paul Rust’s Netflix series, LOVE, you’ve seen star and co-creator Paul Rust and his friends making up songs…this thing lives beyond the show
The Sadies, Girls on Grass @ Union Pool
Twangy Canadian rock greats The Sadies had to cancel dates last year after drummer Mike Belitsky broke his shoulder, but he’s recovered and, having just wrapped up a tour with Kurt Vile, hit Union Pool for a makeup three-show run.
