What’s going on Tuesday?
You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight's shows, but here are some highlights...
Frightened Rabbit, Torres, Bel Aviv @ Brooklyn Steel
Frightened Rabbit returned last year with Painting of a Panic Attack, which does what they do best: sad, anthemic, indie rock. This tour has excellent direct support from grungy singer/songwriter Torres, whose set is not to miss.
White Reaper @ Baby's All Right (two shows)
'The World's Best American Band,' as White Reaper call themselves with their new album title, return to NYC tonight for early and late shows at Baby's. If you like power pop with Thin Lizzy leads, you'll want to catch one or both of these shows. The early show is with Natural Halves and the late show is with Honduras.
John Mayall @ Iridium
John Mayall's '60s band the Bluesbreakers included future members of Cream, Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, and more, and Mayall remains a UK blues legend in his own right. This is his first of two Iridium shows this week.
The Juice Comedy Variety Show @ Union Pool
Carmen Christopher hosts this comedy series that tonight welcomes Conner O'Malley, Aparna Nancherla, Mike Lebovitz, John Reynolds, Gary Richardson, Ana Fabrega, Joey Dundale, Andrew Tisher, and Maya Sharma.
