Happy August! You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Fleet Foxes, (Sandy) Alex G @ Prospect Park Bandshell
Fleet Foxes ended their hiatus this year with their long-awaited third album, Crack-Up, and it not only ranks among their best work but has their most ambitious songs yet. Rising indie rocker (Sandy) Alex G, who last played NYC as Frank Ocean’s guitarist at Panorama this past weekend, opens for them in Prospect Park tonight and tomorrow.

Dave Chappelle, The Roots, Lil Wayne @ Radio City Music Hall
Dave Chappelle begins his 16-show Radio City run tonight, and he has incredible guests at each one. This is one of four shows with The Roots, and it also has the one and only Lil Wayne.

Phish @ MSG
Phish are on night nine of their “Baker’s Dozen” run at MSG. Each show has a different flavored donut to go with it, and themed songs to match the flavor throughout their sets. Tonight’s flavor is Maple.

Blondie, Garbage, Deap Vally @ Beacon Theatre
The pretty perfect double bill of NYC punk legends Blondie and ’90s alt-rock vets Garbage finally rolls into Blondie’s hometown today. Both bands have new music to support but they’ll surely load the sets with classics too.

J. Cole, Anderson .Paak, Bas, J.I.D, Ari Lennox @ Barclays Center
The ever popular J Cole is on the road supporting his late-2016 LP 4 Your Eyez Only, and he has killer direct support from neo-soul singer/drummer Anderson Paak. The tour also has Bas, J.I.D, and Ari Lennox, who are all on Cole’s Dreamville label. They play Barclays Center tonight and tomorrow, and Nassau Coliseum on Saturday.

Kings of Leon, Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats @ Jones Beach
Southern garage pop-rockers Kings of Leon have been on the road all year supporting last year’s WALLS. The tour rolls back through the NYC-area tonight with “S.O.B.” hitmakers Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats.

Coldplay, AlunaGeorge, Izzy Bizu @ MetLife Stadium
Coldplay are still making their way around the world in support of 2015’s A Head Full of Dreams, and they also just dropped the companion EP Kaleidoscope last month. If you’re going tonight, it’s worth getting there in time for pop/R&B duo AlunaGeorge.

London Grammar, Lo Moon @ Brooklyn Steel
Alt-pop trio London Grammar returned this year with their second album, Truth Is a Beautiful Thing, which has co-writing/production by Paul Epworth, Greg Kurstin, and more.

Sic Fucks, Eddie Brill, Dennis Dunaway, Liza Colby, Walter Steding And The Dragon People @ The Bowery Electric
Blondie aren’t the only CBGB vets playing their hometown tonight. The Sic Fucks are celebrating their 40th anniversary at Bowery Electric.
