What's going on Tuesday?

Leikeli47 at Hammerstein Ballroom
Leikeli47 at Hammerstein Ballroom in 2016, opening for Santigold (more by Gretchen Robinette)

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Dave Chappelle, “very special guest” @ Radio City Music Hall
Dave Chappelle has had very exciting guests (both announced and unannounced) at every night of his 16-show Radio City residency so far. He’s not allowed to announce tonight’s guest(s) at all, but he’s promising it’ll be “very special.” Any guesses?

Leikeli47, Jojo Abot, QUIÑ @ Baby’s All Right
Fresh off releasing the lead single for Insecure‘s season two soundtrack, masked Brooklyn rapper Leikeli47 announced her debut album Wash & Set. Tonight’s show will be her first time playing her new music live. The openers are great too: the Lauryn Hill-approved Jojo Abot and QUIÑ, who’s fresh off releasing a new single with Syd.

Nyck @ Knight @ SOB’s
Pro Era members Nyck Caution and Kirk Knight joined forces as Nyck @ Knight and released their self-titled debut album, which reminds you Joey Bada$$ isn’t the only member of Pro Era with some serious talent.

Black Sheep, AllNat, Amani Fela, Boston Chery @ Sunnyvale
It’s been a good time for the Native Tongues crew lately. Both A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul have good new albums, and while Black Sheep haven’t released one in a while, it’s still a treat to see them live (especially someone as small as Sunnyvale).

Bomba Estereo @ Irving Plaza
Before they open for Arcade Fire this fall, cumbia band Bomba Estereo are on a headlining tour. They play Irving Plaza tonight and tomorrow, and both shows are sold out.

Glenn Tilbrook @ City Winery
Co-songwriter and lead singer for Squeeze, Glenn Tilbrook has a great catalog of songs to pull from and is quite the raconteur. Expect lots of songs and stories at this intimate show.

Gabi, Charlie Looker Ensemble, Teletextile @ Union Pool
It’s a night of experimental music at Union Pool, headlined by ambient pop artist Gabi.

El Ten Eleven featuring Emile Mosseri, Pete International Airport @ Rough Trade
This unique show has post-rockers El Ten Eleven playing with Emile Mosseri, who sings on the band’s first-ever vocal collaboration EP, due out this Friday.

Ilana Glazer, Will Miles, Matteo Lane, Clark Jones, Giulia Rozzi @ Union Hall
Broad City‘s Ilana Glazer is among the guests at this edition of “Get Lit And Have Fun with Will Miles

Joe Mande @ Joe’s Pub
You may know Joe Mande from Parks & Recreation, Modern Family or his very funny Twitter feed. His dry acerbic standup style is worth seeing live.
