What's going on Wednesday?

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

“A Celebration Of The Music Of Jimmy Webb” rehearsal @ Carnegie Hall
Acclaimed songwriter Jimmy Webb has given us such classics as “Wichita Lineman,” “McCarthur Park,” “Up Up and Away,” “Galveston,” and others. Part of the “Music Of” series, Webb’s songs will be sung tonight by Graham Nash, Dwight Yoakam, Art Garfunkel, Judey Collins and… Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta-Jones? It’s true, plus many more.

Ryan Adams @ Beacon Theater
Having been in NYC not too long ago to celebrate the release of his new album Prisoner, Ryan returns to the Big Apple for two Beacon shows this week.

Talib Kweli @ Brooklyn Bowl
Like he did last night, Eloquent Brooklyn rap vet Talib Kweli plays tonight with a full band.

Tycho, Heathered Pearls @ Brooklyn Steel
Tycho have really carved out their own niche with their ambient but melodic style of electronic post-rock, having been nominated for a Grammy for 2016’s Epoch. This is their first of two sold-out Brooklyn Steel shows.

Jon Glaser, Chris Gethard, Aparna Nancherla, Josh Gondelman, Maeve Higgins, Kyle Ayers, Judah Friedlander, Kevin Devine, James McNew @ The Bell House
With Union Hall still closed from that fire last month, a bunch of great comedians and musicians are performing tonight with proceeds going to Union Hall staff, FDNY Foundation, and Planned Parenthood.

The Revolution @ Webster Hall
It’s the second of three NYC area shows for Prince’s former backing band, including Wendy & Lisa, and more. There may be special guest vocalists tonight, and for sure lots of ’80s-era Prince classics.

Ab-Soul, Little Simz @ Highline Ballroom
The weirdest Black Hippy member, Ab-Soul, returned late last year with Do What Thou Wilt. Now he’s on tour in support of it with UK rapper Little Simz, who’s been co-signed by Kendrick Lamar and Lauryn Hill.

Rostam, Deradoorian @ Bowery Ballroom
Former Vampire Weekend member Rostam has been busy working with Hamilton Leithauser and also as a solo artist. He’ll bring his solo material to Bowery Ballroom tonight, with support from the excellent, genre-defying artist Deradoorian.

Super Snake, Sanhedrin, Wholewrecker @ Saint Vitus
Trophy Scars were one of the more underrated and experimental bands to come out of 2000s post-hardcore, and singer Jerry Jones is now focusing on his band Super Snake, who make heavy, sludgy, psychedelic rock.

Old 97’s, Nicole Atkins @ Wonder Bar (Asbury Park)
More than 20 years into their career, alt-country vets Old 97’s are more than still kickin’, having released their 11th album, Graveyard Whistling, back in February. They also play Irving Plaza on Saturday.

The Juice w/ Carmen Christopher @ Union Pool
Carmen Christopher hosts this comedy and music variety show with this week’s guests
Chris Gethard, Sonia Denis, Joel Kim Booster and Megan Strickland. $5.
