What's going on Wednesday?

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Jeff Rosenstock, Camp Cope, gobbinjr @ Silent Barn
Cult punk figure Jeff Rosenstock is still riding high off the release of last year’s excellent WORRY. As great as his albums are, his live shows are where it’s at, and it’s no surprise that this intimate gig is sold out. Making this one extra special, the very promising Australian indie-punks Camp Cope make their US debut.

Tony Allen Quartet @ Le Poisson Rouge
Incomparable drummer Tony Allen has played with Fela Kuti, King Sunny Adé, Sebastian Tellier, The Good The Bad & the Queen and more. Tonight he and his band pay tribute to one of his massive influences, Art Blakey.

Thelma and The Sleaze, Las Piñas, Ex-Girlfriends, Stuyedeyed @ Mercury Lounge
Not afraid of bad puns, Nashville’s Thelma and the Sleaze make riff-n-attitude rock n’ roll, as heard on their new LP Somebody’s Doin’ Somethin’ (which came out via Burger).

For all of tonight’s shows, and tomorrow’s, check out our NYC concert calendar.

For laughs, check out the NYC Comedy calendar too.
