WHY? celebrating 'Alopecia' with 10th anniversary reissue & tour

Indie rock/hip hop band WHY?‘s beloved 2008 sophomore album Alopecia turned 10 this past March, and they’re celebrating the anniversary by giving it a reissue on August 17 via Joyful Noise. Along with the reissue, they’re putting out a 7″ featuring remixes of “Good Friday” by Boards of Canada and “By Torpedoa or Crohn’s” by The Postal Service’s Dntel. That Boards of Canada remix is out now, and BoC add their trademark ambient touch without drastically altering the original. Listen below. Various pre-order options here.

WHY? are also performing the album in full on tour, starting in the UK/EU in early/mid September and then hitting North America in the fall. The tour wraps up in DC on December 1, one day after hitting Brooklyn on November 30 at Elsewhere (tickets). All dates are listed below.
