Wilco's Solid Sound festival: 2017 lineup & tix

Wilco’s biennial Solid Sound festival returns in its fifth year on June 23-25 at Mass MoCA in North Adams, MA with a lineup that echoes the lineups of previous years.

Headlining, of course, will be Wilco, with two performances, and Solid Sound also features sets Tweedy (his band with his son), Television, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Robert Glasper Experiment, Dawn of Midi, Peter Wolf & the Midnight Travelers, Big Thief, Dave Alvin and Phil Alvin with the Guilty Ones, “John Hodgman’s Comedy Stage” and more. Also: Cult group The Shaggs playing their first show in over 15 years (!). Check out the full lineup and a trailer below.

Wilco will also be touring, including dates in Chicago in February, Big Ears fest in March in Tennessee, and a handful of dates in-between and after. This includes four NYC shows at Beacon Theater from March 18-22 as part of a tour with Joan Shelley, who will also be performing at Solid Sound. The Beacon shows are mostly sold out, but you may be able to pull single tickets.
