The 2018 edition of the free Wingate Concert Series, which was revived last year after a brief legal battle, takes place at Brooklyn's Wingate Park and features many big names in the worlds of hip hop, R&B, and gospel. The four-show event already began yesterday (August 8) with Johnny Gill, Vivian Green, and After 7, and you can view a clip from that show below. Tonight (8/9), there's an "Afro-Caribbean Night" with Estelle, Ricky Blaze, Serani, Barrington Levy, and Alison Hinds, among others. On August 15, it's a gospel-themed show featuring Jonathan Brown, Vashawn Mitchell, and more. Lastly, on August 16, there's a "Salute to Hip Hop" show from Big Daddy Kane, which features performances from Slick Rick, Wyclef Jean, Kool Moe Dee, and Mr. Cheeks.

Each show opens at 6 PM, with music starting at 7 and its free and open to the public. Find out more info here.
