Wire announce new album ‘Mind Hive’ and 2020 tour (listen to “Cactused”)
Wire will return with Mind Hive, their first album in three years, on January 24 via Pink Flag. They've shared the first single, "Cactused," which is the kind of off-kilter pop that Wire basically pioneered. The video has the band in the studio and drummer Robert Grey on a tractor. Watch that below.
You can catch Wire on an East Coast/Midwest tour in March, including two Brooklyn stop at Music Hall of Williamsburg on 3/11 and 3/12. Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday, October 25 at 10 AM with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (10/23) at 10 AM.
