Wire collaborating with St. Vincent at 'DRILL:Chicago' fest that also features Disappears, White Lung, JSBX & more

Wire, whose new album you can stream, will be bringing their DRILL Festival to Chicago from June 11-13. (Seattle had DRILL in 2013.) Highlights include the band collaborating with St. Vincent for an extended performance of their song “Drill,” as well as working with jazz musicians Ken Vandermark and Nate Wooley on a new version of their classic “Map Ref. 41°N 93°W” and the fest ends with an “all-star” performance of their debut album’s title track by the pinkflag guitar orchestra. There will also be performances by Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Disappears, White Lung and more. Tickets are on sale now, and full daily lineups are listed below.
