Death metal destroyers Withered are streaming their new album Grief Relic in its entirety, and its a crusher. Set to drop officially on May 27, Grief Relic is a wallow in the darkest recesses of death metal that, while overwhelmingly bleak, gross and brutal, never sacrifices musicianship. The band has become something of a supergroup, with the always busy Krallice/Gorguts bassist Colin Marston and Primitive Man vocalist Ethan McCarthy, and Martson especially lends this depressive act the edge of technical insanity that he seems to bring to all his projects. You can stream the brutal, intricate Grief Relic below.

Withered are touring with Inter Arma, and those bands will stop in NYC to play Saint Vitus on July 8 with Pyrrhon and Coagula. Tickets for that are still on sale. Stream Grief Relic below.
