One of the Knitting Factory 30th anniversary shows is the Invisible Oranges-presented Nails show on November 18. We've now added openers to that show, punkish black metal band Woe and confrontational noise rockers Couch Slut. To quote IO editor Ian Cory, this is going to be a banger. Tickets are still available.

Couch Slut recently played Saint Vitus with Pyrrhon and pictures from that show are in the gallery above. Invisible Oranges also recently interviewed Couch Slut. Their new album Contempt is out now on Gilead Media.

Couch Slut also play Knitting Factory a month earlier, opening one of the two Aura Noir shows there. They play night two, October 17, with Trenchgrinder and Funeral Leech. There's also an October 16 show with Mutilation Rites, Meek Is Murder and Skullshitter. Tickets (including a two-night pass option) are available. The shows are part of the long-running Norwegian band's first North American shows with the original trio lineup of Aggressor, Blasphemer and Apollyon. Show promoters Stardust NYC promise that "Aura Noir will perform a different set each night, covering their entire twenty-four year long career." All Aura Noir dates are listed below.

BrooklynVegan is also presenting one of the Knitting Factory 30th anniversary shows, This Will Destroy You and Sannhet on November 14 (tickets).

Woe released a new album this year, Hope Attrition. You can stream that, along with some Nails, Couch Slut, and Aura Noir music, below.
