Wolf Parade tease new EP with 30 second clips, releasing it next week

We knew that Wolf Parade were back in action and we knew that they were going to give us new music at some point, and it now looks like that point is very soon. Their 4th self-titled EP has a sale page at Amazon which lists it as being available on May 17. That’s all the info we have, although you can listen to 30-second previews of those songs at that amazon link.

The release of the EP coincides with the start of their sold-out five-night run at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom. Openers have been announced: Toronto’s DOOMSQUAD will open on May 17, Future Islands side project The Snails open on May 18 & 19, Sam Patch (aka Arcade Fire’s Tim Kingsbury) opens on May 20, and Cut Worms open on May 21.

Wolf Parade reissue Apologies to Queen Mary this Friday (5/13). They also play a big, free outdoor show during Broklyn’s Northside Festival in June (RSVP).
