Woods will release new album Love is Love on April 7, which is two weeks shy of a year since they dropped the great City Sun Eater in the River of Light. The record was made in the two months following the election, but the band say it's less a protest record than a meditation of love and what love means now. Musically, it's very much in the brassy, swaggering afrobeat vibe of City Sun Eater and you can listen to the album's title track right now.

Band leaders Jeremy Earl and Jarvis Taveniere are on their way to Marfa, TX for Mexican Summer's Marfa Myths festival where they will collaborate with Dungen's Gustav Ejstes and Reine Fiske as "recording artists in residence.' After that, it's a European tour for Woods. Updated dates, plus album tracklist, are below.
