Wyclef Jean playing first Brooklyn shows in ten years

Wyclef Jean is getting ready to play his first Brooklyn shows in a decade, as he’ll be hitting Brooklyn Bowl for shows on March 22 and March 29. 3/22 is with Big Sence but no opener announced for 3/29 yet. Tickets are on sale now. This is Wyclef’s first time playing in Brooklyn since he played with the reunited Fugees in Dave Chappelle’s Block Party. Wyclef is also prepping a new album called Carnival 3, which is due later this year.

Fellow Fugees member Lauryn Hill is also touring soon and playing Brooklyn in April. She also just played Long Island and NJ shows earlier this month. Anyone catch those? Did they go over better than the Grammys? (Where she was scheduled to perform with The Weeknd but showed up too late to do so.)
