Seventeen-year-old Alabama rapper YBN Nahmir started blowing up this year with the release of his single "Rubbin' Off the Paint," which went viral, then cracked the Billboard Hot 100, and has been co-signed by Vince Staples, who released his own freestyle over the song's beat. He has a mixtape coming in 2018, but meanwhile, he's been dropping singles that prove he's no one-hit-wonder. The Southern native has a little twang in his voice, but he often cites Bay Area rappers as his biggest influences and he's praised Chicago's Chief Keef, and you can hear those sounds in his music too. Check out a few of his videos below.

Nahmir played Chicago last week, and he has December tour dates coming up, including Rolling Loud SoCal. A few dates after that fest, he'll land in NYC for a show on December 21 at SOB's. Tickets for that show are on sale now. All December tour dates are listed on the poster below. He also plays SXSW 2018.
