Yo La Tengo announce 2018 Hanukkah shows

Yo La Tengo, who just played Pitchfork’s beer and music fest Octfest last night, have announced this year’s Hanukkah run at Bowery Ballroom which goes December 2-9. Tickets go on sale Friday, September 14 at noon with a Citi cardmember presale starting Tuesday (9/11) at 10 AM.

The Hanukkah shows include a comedian and an opening musical act which are not announced till the night of. Last year, which was the first time YLT had done a Hanukkah run since Maxwell’s closed, surprise guests included Superchunk, Jeff Tweedy, Fred Armisen, Half Japanese, Jim Jarmusch, Sun Ra Arkestra, Nick Lowe, Bob Odenkirk, and more.
