Yo La Tengo, Sharon Van Etten, John Zorn, Juliana Barwick & more playing "Other Music Forever" farewell party

Beloved NYC record store Other Music will close its gates for good on June 25. Three days later there will be a farewell concert at Bowery Ballroom on June 28, called “Other Music Forever,” featuring Julianna Barwick, Frankie Cosmos, Helado Negro, Menahan Street Band, Matana Roberts, Sharon Van Etten, Yo La Tengo, John Zorn’s Simulacrum (with John Medeski, Matt Hollenberg and Kenny Grohowski) plus “more special guests and surprises TBA!!”

Tickets for the concert go on sale Friday, June 10 at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (6/8) at noon.

UPDATE 6/10: Online tickets are sold out but you can still pick them up at Other Music (and buy some records while you’re there!).
