You Blew It! release new song from LP, add dates w/ Prawn

As discussed, Orlando’s You Blew It! are releasing their new Evan Weiss-produced album Keep Doing What You’re Doing on January 14 via Topshelf Records, and since we last spoke the band have revealed another cut from the LP, “House Address.” We recently argued that the current wave of emo and indie rock aren’t so different, and this new song is an excellent example of that. There’s hints of the romantic side of emo in his voice and much of the genre’s shimmering riffage, but all the raw energy and hastiness that makes a great rock song is found here too. Listen to the new song, along with the previously released “Award of the Year Award,” below.

You Blew It! have also added more dates to their tour schedule, including a Northeast run with their Topshelf labelmates Prawn that hits NYC on February 8 at Shea Stadium with Living Room. Admission is $8 at the door.
