YoungBoy Never Broke Again

YoungBoy Never Broke Again announces 'A1 Youngboy' tour (album stream, dates)

YoungBoy Never Broke Again

Seventeen-year-old Baton Rouge rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again was released from jail in May, after being arrested for attempted first degree murder in a drive-by and pleading guilty to lesser charges. Just a few months later, he already returned with a new full-length project, AI YoungBoy, which has features from Peeway Longway and Yo Gotti. It’s the followup to last year’s 38 Baby (released when he was still going by NBA YoungBoy), which had features by fellow Baton Rouge rappers Boosie BadAzz and Kevin Gates. AI YoungBoy is rooted in Southern rap’s rich history, with hungry bars, catchy hooks, and production that pulls from both classic soul samples and modern trap. Stream the mixtape and watch videos for three of its songs below.

YoungBoy is playing the Day N Night festival (with Kendrick Lamar, Chance the Rapper, and more), and he announced a tour that begins the day after he plays that fest.

The tour includes a NYC show on September 26 at Gramercy Theatre. Tickets for that show are on Live Nation/Music Geeks presales now (passwords = CHORUS and MUSICGEEKS), with the public on-sale starting Friday (8/11) at 10 AM. All dates are listed below.
